INTORQ brakes are designed to be extremely durable and reliable. Midwest Industrial Sales carries both electromagnetic and spring applied brakes. Electromagnetic INTORQ brakes are designed for use in machines with a centralized drive. They control lower-level drive assembly speeds with the utmost precision. INTORQ electromagnetic brakes have a variety of crucial features, including reduced operating times, torque transfer without torsional backlash, and low motor moment of inertia. These brakes are ideal for use in gates, folding machinery, printing machinery, packaging machines, and mechanical engineering. INTORQ spring applied brakes, however, are suitable for just about any application. Due to a modular design, these brakes can also be used in very specific applications, making versatility their strongest feature.
